So the paper ended at 12 and i felt a sort of .... liberation. Mostly from my thoughts. It felt so good because i know for sure that this time i tried and very hard in fact. I never did smthg like this for this subject and i really wish to see my grades grow exponentially. Because if it doesnt, im pretty sure i'll break and will finally declare the G word that i have been putting off to say despite the tears ive shed, the thoughts i spent, the pain i suffered for this subject.
This keeps me awake and its like the best thing ever since i totally dislike orange and thus berroca and all other brands sejenama with it.
So there was also rain the pass few days, to my surprise. But it was good because with this heat at 34, it is really taking a toll on me.
Besides that i've been pretty much at home during this june holiday, meeting le girl, and lf. The catching up did wonders to me because it reminded me that i still had them. I also met Hany which was a total bonus and i promised myself that i'd spent a week with her right after A's hahahahah
I also spent time at home with my family watching my sisters grow.
It was junior's birthday and we got cake! Somehow at this tender age i still feel that birthdays arent complete without cake. You know like how some ppl feel like the party aint started without the booze? Yea some sort like that.
And this was something good le junior made for me because she said my presence around her has been the best present. Hahahahahh k of course she didnt say it but i can totally tell her love for me in the eyes.
Before i end, i want to highlight about how people say that Singapore's education system is bad and all. Ok i mean it probably is in terms that since young we are not really encourage to talk? Like to voice our opinions like how the Americans do it. But that is not really the fault of the education but more like the dynamics of the society that we are in, conservative. Or atleast it has been that way till now. Anyway, i think that Singapore's education does set us out to be competitive players. People argue that that is the whole problem with the system but it is just making us face reality. If you think Singapore is bad, what about those other countries that are bigger and has millions other people like China and India? I mean, did you guys see this
These students have to do this because places in schools are limited and there are millions of them and they really have no other choice. What about us? We boast the best education system with our ITE being so good. Have you guys seen it?
and
I feel so.... angry at these talks of the education being flawed and all. It is small to a certain extent but then again what is perfect! It takes time to change and in the meantime we have to wait and slowly take the necessary steps.
Personally i feel thankful for this education system. I dont belong here and probably thats why i can appreciate it even more. I just hope that people will see the wonder of education. And learning. Because there are millions out there who are unable to enjoy what they call "a privilege".
And probably my view will change when i have a better understanding of the mechanism in the "real world" but till then, this will be my stand.
That is all.
