THIS IS AN EMOTIONALLY DRIVEN POST-

I dont see how technology is suppose to improve our lives. Ok yes i can contact you better now, get information faster and be connected globalisation and all of those sorts.
But on the other hand,

  1. when im sick i ask the internet which is a no-no
  2. since i can get information easily on the internet, it has actually made me spend more time getting the info, get what i mean? Cus you have to cross refer to check its reliability and all sorts and if you had just asked directions with the helpful librarian, they might be able to direct you the right information you've been searching for the whole 3 days and voila, its that simple. Of course the probability of this happening is a whole other qns
  3. when you are late for a submission, people begin screaming and demanding that they want it now now now cus with the internet, everything is just a matter of seconds!!!! But systems get jammed up, hanging, lost in the process etc
  4. you are in a crisis and you need desperate immediate help AND YOUR PHONE HANGS
  5. you become more distant with your friends. oh kan sekarang dah ade fb, email, skype, whatsapp buat ape nak jumpe? chat je ah. so ok you chat je ah and then it starts getting less frequent, less and less frequent, and then suddenly you are no longer in contact, congratulations
  6. what you say in the net is read by everyone and even people you have no intention of hurting but they end up getting hurt anyway and your ties with them became severed, for almost forever. Well done.
  7. when you cant get the right information fast fast fast you get angry
  8. it actually makes you more impatient, think about it.
Please note that this is a high-
OH TWO MORE:
     9. you are meeting your friend and you wanna tell them that you're gonna be late cus something last minute came up and THEN YOUR PHONE DIED and you dont have their number. or better still, if that person is a stranger, like a project mate, potential customer.
    10. and without updates from webpages, do you actually remember all these people's birthdays?

Ok so please note that this is a highly emotional driven post. The reason for this post? Simple. One time too many i've been scolded because i didnt send the task online on time when it was clearly not my fault because firstly, the page she gave did not exist and secondly i published it correctly, only that she didnt see it. Of course i should have highlighted that the page didnt exist right? But no, the page exists and now its my fault i cant find it. I clearly do not see how this is my fault and i dont deserve this treatment.

thats all i have to say to you.

-----

Truly, when you make 1001 great achievements, its still that one mistake that people bring up all the time. No one makes me feel this way but you have this great ability to make me feel it over and over and over again. And yet, you're the one i love from the moon and back.
